A Woman Robbed is a series in which Kevin is joined by a special guest in discussing women who had significant Oscar buzz heading into the nominations but were ultimately robbed/snubbed/omitted from the Best Actress lineup. In this episode, Kevin speaks with Karen Peterson about two performances of the ’40s that weren’t nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars: Rosalind Russell (“His Girl Friday”) and Barbara Stanwyck (“The Lady Eve”).
